After sitting in the same room for almost 2 hours of nothing but meetings, it gives me a little time to relax and doodle.
The first one is just your typical weindeer. and the second...well, the second is how the meeting was going.
So this is a little project I've been working on for my new friend
@theBAYsics. He asked me to do what I do on these joystick ball tops that he makes.
I first stared with ping pong balls to comp out a few designs (and see if I could draw on a small round object.). After many ping pong balls I decided it was time for the real thing.
The first one is pink in color so I just went simple with this and used my black posca paint makers. Then came the clear one. This one was a bit more difficult. I started with black but wanted it to pop more. So I added a little red for some color and detail. All and all I think they turned out pretty good...for my first time.
just testing out a little two color sharpie goodness.

So here are just a few pages from my sketchbook for the
2012 sketchbook project.
I only have 5 days till it needs to be in the mail. So it's time for me to start sketching my ass off.
So I was hoping to do a series of three with the canvas completely covered in my little dudes....however, that did not happen.
My second canvas started out great but then I made a few amateur mistakes (cause that's what i am) and it didn't end well. I might post pictures of the defect but it hurts too much right now.
so with all that said, this is it, black 'n' orange.
what to do when your sitting at a restaurant and your waitress takes forever? you break out the sharpie and do a little shameless self promotion, that's what.
nothing on tv plus a little free time and a posca pen , equals an awesome posca pen tattoo.
so i stopped by burgerville this weekend and had a shake and some walhalla onion rings. i felt so inspired (full) that while i worked off the calories (sat on my ass) i doodled this little ditty up.
thanks burgerville (shameless plug) for the delicious inspiring food, keep it up.
the sever went down at work today. so with my free time i drew up a little something.

they started as a simple sketch in a long and boring meeting. and look at them now, rocking the canvas! and maybe someday...a t-shirt.
just a little something new in the works.
just a little something i threw together.
